About Jessica

At Growth & Recovery, Jessica provides individual, couples, & group counseling for both men and women ages 13 and up.

One of her greatest passions is in the field of maternal mental health. Examples might include clients who are experiencing prenatal or postnatal issues, difficulties conceiving, infertility, or a miscarriage loss. She is also particularly sensitive to the stresses and challenges for single moms, new moms, and young moms.

In addition, Jessica has extensive experience working with clients seeking to address sexual trauma, complex PTSD, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, depression, Bipolar disorder, anxiety/panic, and low self esteem. She is also an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist.

Described by clients as genuinely empathetic, equal parts optimistic and realistic, highly relatable, understanding, and easy-going. Jessica uses a variety of approaches to include solution-focused, trauma-focused, CBT, and strength-based, but is quick to stress that above all, she is person-centered and believes there is not one “cookie cutter” treatment approach that fits all clients.

In the human services field since 2016, Jessica has experience in criminal justice, outpatient behavioral health, inpatient psychiatric & medical hospital facilities, and the child welfare system. Additional Certifications: Crisis Prevention Intervention, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Jessica is available for both in-office and telehealth appointments. She accepts Tricare Select, United Healthcare, and private pay arrangements.

Jessica’s quote…

“A ‘healer’ is not someone you go to for healing. A healer is someone who triggers, within you, your own ability to heal yourself.”
